How To Help Or Donate
The initial goal for the Quarters for Kenya project was to raise $250,000. Much of this has been raised, but there is much more to be done. These funds are being used to house and educate over one hundred African boys and girls that were living in total poverty and isolation from anything they once called home or family. They lived on the streets of Nairobi, Kenya due to the loss of both parents to HIV/AIDS.
The funds, raised by this effort, are being directed to The Shepherd’s Home through Discover the World, a Christian non-profit relief and development agency based in Pasadena, CA. Discover the World was started by a husband and wife team, the Rev. and Dr. Doug and Jackie Millham. Discover the World provides oversight to the funds raised by Quarters for Kenya and similar groups for The Shepherd’s Homes in Kenya.
